In an informal context, (Pick me up after a while), "dentro de un rato".

Much more formal option "Pasados unos momentos".

    More options?

Hi!, I think "after a while" is like: "después de un rato", or... "después de un tiempo". Bye.

    Hi,

I would translate " in a while" as "dentro de un rato"
"Pick me up in a while" = "recógeme dentro de un rato", but in my opinion "after a while" is better translated as "al de un rato" or "al cabo de un rato".
"After a while, he started talking again" = "al cabo de un rato, comenzó a hablar de nuevo", in this last example "dentro de un rato" is not possible.
    bye

    Hello everyone,

I cannot figure out what "after a while means."

Can you help me out? I have tried and tried, but I still cannot find out how to say it correctly.

    After a while: pasado/s un rato/unos momentos/instantes; un poco después/más tarde, etc
