after all - formal or informal?

Hello, I would like to know it after all ould be used in formal writing?

Nevertheless, the mentioned issue puts the focus on the results that this methodology produces, as after all, its final aim is to foster the communicative competences.

"after all" is simply a "filler" in conversation - it has no real additional meaning in a sentence. You should omit it.

PS, your sentence has other problems.

I am not sure that "after all" is marked as informal or conversational. However, I think there are probably clearer and more precise ways to introduce evidence for a proposition (if that is the intended function of "after all" here).
