Hi everyone.

I'm a bit in trouble with an English sentence contruction.

Here's the phrase:

"John, after taking a good look at his room, (he) has twigged what he should have realised a while ago."

Well, my question is:
Do I have to write "he" necessarily? Can I do without it?

Somebody help me as soon as possible.

Greetings ;)

No, non devi metterlo proprio :)
O "John, after taking a good look at his room, has twigged...", oppure "After taking a good look at his room, John has twigged..."

John è il soggetto della frase e nel tuo esempio, aggiungere he non sarebbe corretto.

After taking a good look at his room, John...
