Hello!
Could someone tell me if this literal translation from an interview makes sense in English?
Thank you very much :)

“After the surgery I felt very flattened. Physically flattened. You know... I only had my mind and my eyes. It reminded me of the cockroach of Kafka´s Metamorphosis. When you can not move.... a sensation like.... like if I were useless. When you can not do absolutely anything. It seemed impossible I could even recover of all of that”

    Hiya, anapas,
I'd pass all of it as making sense up the end -
    - I'd like to change that last sentence to "It seemed impossible I could ever recover after all of that"
