I'm translating "after you pick up your friend, we need to get gas".
接你的朋友以后、我们得开车加
mostly I'm not sure if the vocabulary is right, if jiayou can be considered a resultative compliment, and whether the word order is correct.

    To keep your original sentence, I think you'll only need to change the last few words:
    接你的朋友以后、我们得 + 给车加油

    加油 here is a verb phrase (v+n), and not a complement.
