Age and sex abbreviated

I'm compiling data (statements) in an academic context, and I need to specify the sex and age of the person making the statement. Is there a typical way of presenting them in abbreviated form (something like M/27)?

Thank you.

I think M/27 is adequate. If you are afraid that it might be unclear to some readers, you could always provide a legend of sorts in the introduction to the work such as: "The following statements identify only the (sex/age) of the individuals making them."

I think "Male, 27" would cover it and the meaning would be apparent without additional explanation. "M, 27" is a little less clear.
