al di là dei gol

    Ho letto " al di la dei " tante volte e non sono sicuro cosa voule dire o quale contesto si l'usa ??? aiutarmi per favore amici.

    It means "beyond". Do you have some context?

    E.g. al di là di ogni ragionevole dubbio - beyond a reasonable doubt.

    It may also be something like apart from or even though.

    You wrote al di là dei gol without further context. I'll invent one, then:
    Al di là dei gol, al di là del fatto che abbiano vinto, la squadra ha giocato davvero male.
    -> Apart from the goals [they scored], even though they won, the team played really bad.

    Per esempio

    al di la' dei gol, si puo dire che questa sia la sua migliore stagione....

    Cosi "beyond" ha senso. Grazie mille.

    Maybe "Over and above.." is better here, or "Above and beyond..." at a pinch, rather than plain simple "Beyond...". But that's just my a opinion.

    Actually, in Italian this kind of expression (see also "A prescindere da..") is often used with the meaning/nuance "Quite apart from..."/"Regardless of...", and I would humbly suggest both these latter expressions are improved translations for your phrase here ;-).

    How about "Goals aside, we could say that this is his/her/their best season"?
