Do you think CPA covers Esperti Contabili as well?

I think it's quite impossible to have Dottori Commercialisti ed Esperti Contabili literally translated, as I guess Dottore Commercialista doesn't exist at Common law countries.
I believe C.P.A. Certified Practising Accountants can give the compehensive meaning, and is actually used in this context. But I'd be happy with a different translation from anyone
