Muchas gracias !

    Thank you all.
I really do not know whether there is a word for that in English.
It is not a winery, neither a granary. It is public in the sense that the property and the activity belongs to the Major House of a city. Fish markets here at least are also ruled that way yet : The goods, groceries etc are taken there, and they are sold to the wholesalers, and sometimes to the public at the end of the auction. That is the moment the TAXES are applied.-
There is one that worked with wheat in Toledo
And I need to describe the old activity held in "alhóndiga Bilbao", now a cultural center. In the site they call it "wine warehouse" Does that sound right ?
    Thanks a lot

I must explain the building to visitors from tomorrow on, and "Former wine warehouse" sounds great.
By the way, MAESTRA, you are not that far away, we call it Albóndiga Bilbao , just for fun, ;) Etymology :

πανδοχεῖον, albergue).

    complicated, aint´it ?

Thank you all, great help, count on me
