Hi teachers,
Can I use "apart from the fact that" as an explanation to "although" in the sentence?

Although
he was quite happy at work, he felt like a chance.
Apart from the fact that he was quite happy at work, he felt like a change.

    No, I'm afraid not. They mean different things.

    "Although he was" means "In spite of being".

    "Apart from the fact that" is usually used to mean "Additionally" or "Another factor is..."
