I was wondering if anyone knows how to say the type of football played in America in Italian. I'm having trouble finding a translation. Thanks

I call it Football americano, as English football (soccer) for us is "calcio". Rugby (that we pronounce ['re:gbi]) is a different sport, isn't it?

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes. They are so different, it is like asking Austria if it were the same thing as Germany! The only similarity is that they use a similar-shaped ball.
