    Bonjour,

"The tourists diminish certain gaps between the promotional image conveyed without wind turbines and the reality of the landscapes of the destination "

    Merci à l'avance.

    Bonsoir,

Moi je propose ça, mais suis perplexe:

'Tourists narrow some gaps between the promotional picture promoted without wind turbines and the reality of the destination landscapes'

I would suggest using a phrase like "Tourists will automatically smooth over some of the rough edges between the promotional images (which show no windmills)..."

    How about simple "reduce gaps"?

    Or:
Tourists will accept / be prepared to accept [minor] differences between advertised / promotional images of destinations (showing no wind turbines) and their actual look [on arrival].

Tourists will mentally adjust for [minor] differences between advertised images of destinations ...and their actual look [on arrival].
