I'm currently working on a medical translation involving many reconstructive surgeries, and I came across the word "post" in the following sentence:
"Consult with Dr. xxx regarding more tissue grafting and placing implants posts. He states that the implant bases are too far forward and cannot do anything."
I couldn't find the exact technical term in French for "post", so from now my sentence looks like:
"Consultation avec le Dr. xxx pour une greffe de tissus supplémentaires et pose d’implants ??.[...]"
