One biography reads as follow: "Megan Denise Fox was born on May 16, 1986 in Rockwood Tennessee. This olive-skinned beauty has French, Irish, and Native American ancestry."

Shouldn't it be ancestries instead because there different ethnicities in her gene? Your feedback is appreciated.

Maybe quite a number of people have it wrong. Genealogy has become very popular for the amateur who has tried to sort out his own family. I have always read ancestry in reference to the total pedigree of a person. Is there a rule? I have never heard of one.
