Hi,

the sentence below is my own:

Some of the songs date back to the 18th century, and for the majority it is the first time they have been digitised.

Does the part in bold look OK, or should I reword? (Some of the songs date back to the 18th century, and the majority of them have been digitised for the first time. ?)

    I would replace the bold words with "in most cases", and also maybe change "it" to "this [is the first time]".
