Hello,

You just hired him, and now he's setting/putting/imposing/?? conditions for/on you?

Which verb would work best in this case if I'm trying to say that someone is forcing their conditions when they shouldn't?

    For example, let's say the boss asks the employee, "can we meet tomorrow" and the employee goes, "I can only do today by 3pm".
