Could you tell me if "and so on" means the same things as "and so forth, et cetera" or it means something else in this context? :confused:

"He agreed and so on that Saturday morning, Mike became my first business partner."

    "So" here means therefore or accordingly - it's not part of the expression "and so on".

    You can see this more clearly if we insert an extra comma in your sentence:
    "He agreed and so, on that Saturday morning, Mike became my first business partner."
