"Ang" after a noun

Hi! I find the "ang" very confusing. For example, in the sentence "Ilang wika ang alam mo", I don't understand why the "ang" is after wika. Shouldn't it be before? Like: "Ilang ang wika alam mo"?

Review the use of ang as a focus marker.

Ang can be applied either before or after the focus word which in your sentence is wika. The linker -ng will be used in both cases.

Ilang wika ang alam mo? OR Ilan ang (mga) wikang alam mo?
