Another term for make somebody envy / jealous

what other term or english phrasal for i have a food and make that person jealous or envy. Can i use "rub it in"?

    say i bought an ice cream and i want to make my friend crave/envy/jealous of what i'm eating, what's another way of saying it?

    If your sentence is "I want to make my friend ______ what I'm eating," and your choices are "crave," "envy," or "jealous of," I'd probably use "envy.

    "Crave" only means that they want the ice cream, not that they envy you for having it. Properly, you should say "I want to make my friend envy me for what I'm eating," because they can't actually envy the ice cream.
