Anyway VS. Besides

Hi everyone,What is the difference between these words: ANYWAY and BESIDES? when they mean: to add something to a previous statement. For example, here's a sentence: It's too expensive, and ANYWAY, we don't have enough time to do it. OR It's too expensive, and BESIDES, we don't have enough time to do it. ?I would tend to say: Anyway is more informal than Besides, but I am not sure at all. Thanks alot in advance =-) Laurent

    Salut,

il suffit de traduire en français pour voir la différence dans ce contexte: anway= de toute manière, besides= de plus :)

Hi Arobaz: those two sentences have exactly the same meaning to me.

In the context above, there is no difference (not even a subtle one) between the two.

    Hope that helps.
