I am trying to figure out the difference in French between saying "J'aime faire q.c" et "J'apprecie faire q.c" - as an equivalent of the english " I enjoy smth / enjoy doing smth "

is one more formal than the other or does it depend on the context ?

    Hello!

I just want to resurrect this thread to verify... Can you also use apprécier to talk about a person? For example, could you say "je l'apprécie beaucoup. C'est quelqu'un de bien."

    Thanks in advance!
