Raccorder les 3 fils, conformément aux prescriptions du fabricant du véhicule, comme suit :
• Brun :
Masse (31) ;
• Bleu :
+ permanent (30), à protéger par un fusible de 5A ;
• Noir :
+ après contact (15), à protéger par un fusible de 5A.

Sur les véhicules ADR, l’alimentation permanente (30) devra impérativement être prise après le coupe-circuit et ne pourra en aucun cas être prise au niveau de l’alimentation du tachygraphe.

Bonjour a tous,

This phrase is taken from the installation instructions for a tachograph. The rest of the document is not particularly technical, but I'm stuck on this sentence. ADR vehciles (dangerous goods) must have a continual power supply to this tachograph, but I'm struggling with the last part:

"On ADR vehicless, the uninterruptible power supply (30) must be connected after a short-circuit and cannot in any case be connected to the tachograph's power supply."

Can anyone confirm if I'm on the right lines, I have a feeling I've got this wrong - technical stuff is my thing!

Thanks
GG

    Hello greygoose

    I'd rather use "circuit breaker" (like an emergency switch or the like) for "coupe-circuit", as "court-circuit" is nothing but the typical electrical breakdown (do you call it short-circuit ?)
