Hello everyone,

From the book Quantum Leader by Danah Zohar:

"Corporate leadership faces the greatest technological upheaval and the greatest need for creative restructuring since the Industrial Revolution. Without clearly recognizing it, corporate leaders are challenged by external forces to build a radically new leadership culture from the ground up. These
same challenges face leaders at all levels and in all sectors of society."

Does it mean that external forces prevent them from building a radically new leadership culture from the ground up?

Thank you.

If A challenges B to build something, it means that A gives B a challenge (A asks or commands B to do a task that will be difficult to accomplish) and that challenge is to build something.

In the quoted example, external forces demand that (they have caused a need for) corporate leaders build a radically new leadership culture (and that task will be a challenge).
