Does that make sence? Any other suggestions would be great.

¿Cómo te está yendo en el trabajo hoy?
¿Cómo te va el día en el trabajo?
¿Qué tal todo hoy en el trabajo?
¿Qué tal el trabajo hoy?
¿Cómo andamos hoy en el trabajo? (colloquial)
¿Qué pasa? ¿Qué tal andamos en el trabajo? (colloquial)
¿Te va bien hoy en el trabajo?

Naturally, there're more ways to say that.
