Hi all,

If I'm a private piano teacher and I'm scheduling students for lessons. I want to ask them if they are free to come for lessons this weekend. Which of the following should I ask?

Are you free this weekend?
Will you be free this weekend?

Are you free this weekend? has a more positive nuance.
Will you be free this weekend? has a more speculative nuance.

At first I thought "Are you free" was more correct as we are talking about timetables, just like train schedules and bus schedules.
