arrêter un montant

This is for an invoice.

On the letter of engagement, we stated that the amount due for a work would vary between € 1,000 and € 2,000, depending on the time needed. Finally, we will charge € 1,600.

In France, we write on the invoice : "montant arrêté à 1 600 €"
What would you write in English? If have no clue so I'd rather not give it a try...

On dit : Amount due: 1,600 euros

Et au cas où cela te serait utile…
In our estimate, we stated that charges for the work performed (not "a work") would fall (not "vary") between… " Total charges come to 1,600 euros."

Thank you both, I'll stay with Harry's proposition: "charges come to" for each item and total charges come to for the total".

Thanks for your corrections Harry, that really helps.
