Hi,

A is a female friend of mine, she's looking for a tutor for her daughter.
B is a native speaker I met recently, he can teach English.

I want to gather them two together to discuss about the tutoring, I send a message to them, can I say:

I will arrange a gathering for you to meet. (Is the bold okay?)

Thanks a lot

A ‘gathering’ suggests more than 2 people. I will arrange a meeting would sound better.
    Thanks a lot, Little Ripper.

Yes, including me, and there are 3 people, also, maybe a friend Alex wants to come.

I wonder if it's okay to say:

    I will arrange a meeting/gathering among us.

    Thanks a lot

When I said it “suggests more than 2 people”, I meant a lot more than 2 people. I wouldn’t use it for 3 or 4.
