What would you call an art exhibition (for instance, in a cafe), where the artist sells his works? I mean, something other than this very verbose description I gave you.

An art exhibition is an art exhibition, wherever it's held. And it's usual that the artist is selling his work, so normally it's not required that you put that in.

We usually say "exhibition with sale(s)" in Romanian. I was wondering if maybe there was something similar in English.

Except for exhibitions by museums, it's understood (as Copyright says) that exhibited art works are for sale.

There'll always be a clue that a painting is for sale, such as a label reading 'Cherries with Badger Droppings by Anne Dover-Moolah. £5,500'.
