MAy i know the maning of sentence below
As I understand from <Person Name>, all cards that we scan in warehouse will considered as backlog images.

    "As I understand from [someone]" means that [someone] told him that the cards will be considered backlog images.

    It is close to "[someone] told me that", but it acknowledges the possibility the the speaker may not have understood correctly, or that the information may be incorrect for some other reason. It allows the other person to correct the information without saying directly "[someone] is wrong".
