In 2008, the race will be held on March 26. This year, participants will be able to compete not only as individuals but also on teams.

    Hi,
Why is it "as individuals" while it is "on teams?" Is it all right to say "as teams" instead? Thanks.

    Hi Bamboo.

On teams is wrong. I think you should say in teams or as part of a team.

On teams sounds like it might be AE to me. As Katie says, we (in the UK) would probably say in teams.
