Hello everyone,

Sentence: He's from Navasari, once booming centre of Kaumi commerce and culture, but now as obscure as this guy who has pumped up its former glory.
Source: The Times of India.

I want to how is the adjective obscure used here, is it used predicatively or attributively. I'm confused as I'm unable to see any verb or noun.
