Hi,
could you pls have a look at the sentence and suggest some changes, if necessary?

At the application of the models there is a pursuit to find (or pursuit of finding?) an optimal number (or amount?) of input data, leading to satisfying prediction.

(I was trying to say that when applicating the models, I tried to get as much data as is necessary to be able to predict further action in a satisfying way.)

Thank you very much
