Ciao susydream, e benvenuta. :) "At the moment" fa riferimento ad un certo momento specifico, mentre "for the time being" fa riferimento ad uno spazio di tempo più largo che include il momento presente:

at the moment = al momento, a questo momento

for the time being = per ora, per adesso

I would add that at the moment = al momento when is followed by of or when.

    If you say:
I'm writing at the moment. It can only mean now.
    But if you say:
I was writing at the moment when the door slammed. This is the moment for al momento...:)

for the time being = per ora, per adesso
I think Brian's translations are spot on. I would add "attualmente" for "at the moment" and "per il momento" for "for the time being".
I was surprised to see that Garzanti translates "for the time being" with "al presente, attualmente", which doesn't sound right to me.
