at the start of June

    Dear all,

    I would like to translate: at the start of June, I rented your holiday apartment...

    I would like to check my translated of "at the start of June".

    I have had two attempts: (1) Au début du juin, ....
    (2) À partir de début juin, .....

    I get the impression from various cross referencing (using word reference) that number (2) sounds better (or at least is a better construction). I was wondering whether anyone had any thoughts on this.

    Please let me know if you need any more info from me for this.
