I am wondering how to say in english the following sentence:

Es probable que tanta atención dirigida a la vida de estos terroristas se deba a un intento de hacer las noticias más asequibles/atractivas para el público.

This is my suggestion:

It is likely that all this emphasis to driven the life of female suicide bombers is an attempt to make the news more attractive.

    Una traducción mas 'palabra por palabra' suena mejor. Por ejemplo:


    It is likely that all this attention directed at the life of these terrorists is an attempt to make the news more attractive to the public.
