Hey!

I'd like to translate into English: "está lloviendo, aún así vamos a la playa"

My attempt: "it's raining, still we're going to the beach or we're going to the beach though"

    edit: Both of your examples are fine too, but I think it might be more common to hear it the way I used it in my example.

    Perhaps you may also say it's raining, even so we're going to the beach
     
    We would not use "even so" in this context. As a senior member of this forum you should be aware that it is only native speakers of a language who should provide answers to queries, otherwise the quality of this forum is undermined. The previous reply (from a native speaker of English) was the best one.

    La traducción específica en algunos casos, podría ser "even so" pero siempre depende del contexto. Por eso en mi respuesta dije que la traducción no sería "even so" dentro del contexto de la pregunta que se hizo en el foro. Por eso escribí que no se podía traducir así "in this context". Eso no quiere decir que no se pueda traducir "aún así" por "even so" en otros contextos.

    Even though, normalmente (pero dependiendo del contexto) lo traduciría por "aunque."

    I don't see anything wrong with that answer - it would sound perfectly natural coming from a native speaker and nobody would think twice about it.

    I'd always give more weight to what a native speaker says, but many excellent replies come from non-natives. And I've seen some very strange replies on occasion from native speakers. :)

    There are many, many ways of saying something like this in English. I think it depends on how colloquial one is being. I think the vast majority of people would use the word "anyways," but at the END of the sentence.
    It's raining, but we're going to the beach anyways!
