What is the natural way to express the following ideas in English?

One of the benefits of living alone is that you can avoid trouble/ conflicts/ bumping into other people. For exmple, you and your roomates can argue over tv channels. Also, different personality between you and your roommate can cause some problems. Therefore, living alone is a good way to avoid trouble/conflicts/ misunderstanding with other people.

I think "conflicts" is best here. "Troubles" is too vague and "bumping into other people" too specific in my opinion.
