Help!
I am looking for an idiom (better in AE) to translate the French one: J'ai le cerveau en compote" meaning I am in a foggy state, unable to focus. ( after taking sleeping pills for instance ) I found: "aching brain, dull brain", but I would like something more familiar or popular. Can any of you think of something else?
Merci!

Yes, but we'd spell it "Jell-O"; it's a trademark, by the way (pehaps it isn't any longer - Kleenex, Frigidaire, and Cellophane, for example, were also trademarks at first. Or "My brain has turned to mush."
