Await/Welcome with open arms

    Hi, could you tell me if there is some difference between

    "await someone with open arms" and "welcome someone with open arms".

    Are both correct?

    "Welcome" makes more sense. You could "await" someone with open arms as well, but your arms might get tired if he didn't show up right away. ;)
