    I received this email from Buenos Aires:

    "... el arreglo de la bacha de la cocina de $ 150,00"

    This is the cost of a repair in the kitchen of an old house. But what is 'bacha' -- is it a word in rioplatense? Possibly a misspelling? Thanks!

    Tengo que traducir "bacha" y "lavatorio" si bacha es sink, cómo digo "lavatorio"? Alguien sabe la diferencia?

    In Argentina:
    Bacha: plumbing/technical term (tengo que comprar una bacha nueva)
    Pileta de la cocina: everyday term (poné los platos en la pileta de la cocina)

    ¿Qué es un lavatorio? ¿Un lavabo/lavamanos? Si es así puedes decir kitchen sink and bathroom sink. Si la traducción es para UK ellos le llaman washbasin al del baño.
