Hola!! Necesitaria ayuda con esta expresion...

I heard an inhospitable knock on the door. it wasn´t housekeeping-it was serious. The manager and security guard stood there, telling me that she had not only not come home but she'd bailed on her bill, and the hotel had no intention of granting me a late check-out.

Muchisimas gracias!!

The wording is a bit strange but I would understand this to mean that she didn't pay her bill.

I can't find anything suitable in a dictionary to prove my point but if I read this in a book I would understand it like that due to the context.
