Bear a grudge: Maintain resentment or anger against someone for a past offense

< Previous | Next >
Hello everyone,

I already know the meanings of "bear a grudge'' (= maintain resentment or anger against someone for a past offense - Thefreedictionary), but I'm not 100% sure about it in the examples below. My question: Does ''bear a grudge" sound natural/correct in the examples I made below?

a. I don't bear grudges. I try to forgive and forget the bad things people do to me.
b. He bears grudges. He never forgives and likes to talk about the bad things he went through.
c. My grandfather bore grudges. He used to complain a lot about injustice in his life, bad people who hurt him, etc.

Thank you in advance!
