because of the stormy weather

    If I wanted to say in french, "because of the stormy weather," would it just be, "parce que du weat orageux" or does it not make much sense to have parce que next to du like I have it.

    Hi Joesouthern,

    It would have to be 'à cause du mauvais temps....'. 'Parce que' has to introduce an entire clause (with a subject and verb).
