become known to~(become+p.p)

1.He became known to us all.(He was known to us all.)

I was taught that "become" can be used for be-verb in the Passive Voice,but I can't find any example sentences except for "become known to~".
If you come up with other example sentences used "become+p.p",I'd like you to show me some.

    "He became known to us all" is a good sentence, as others have said, but it is not the same as "He was known to us all".
    "He became known to us all" indicates a change: Previously, we didn't know him; then we got to know him.
    "He was known to us all" does not indicate a change.
