Hello,

Before we dig into the topic, could you introduce yourself to viewers?

Is this phrase natural in this context? Is there a better alternative?

Erm, you have not given us a context! Where is this script going to be delivered, and to whom?

It's an interview. We are going to talk about specific topic, and before doing that I want that person to introduce himself.

Right, in that case I would not use dig in, which is quite informal.

Dig in is probably better suited to a team effort rather than a scenario where one person is presenting to another in an interview.

    Why not just say start?
