1a. Because she was late, she missed her school bus.
1b. Being late, she missed her school bus.
1c. Late, she missed her school bus.

2a. As he is a doctor, he often asks me about my health.
2b. Being a doctor, he often asks me about my health.
2c. A doctor, he often asks me about my health.

As far as I know, both a versions and b versions are correct and have the same meaning. Am I right? If so, when I use c versions, could they be acceptable and have the same meaning as a and b versions?
