belle gueule

Doing some volunteer translation for the local SPA, and I'm a bit stuck on an expression: they're taking about having "225 marcheurset une centaine de belles gueules" at a fundraising walk called the Randonée des belle gueules.

I assume this is a dog-walking kind of event (the context seems to suggest it), but how does one translate "belle gueule" in this context?

From the context and pictures, I understand 100 pretty faces (i.e. dogs) walking along with the humans.
Gueule is used here in both proper and figurative senses.
