Bengali treatment of English loanwords

Bengali
Is it correct to use the English plural -s in English loanwords when using them in Bengali speech? I have seen a few people do it, but I don’t normally see this done by most Bengali speakers.
Just to give an example,
কতগুলা গেইম আছে আর তুই এই এক গেইম নিয়েই রয়েছিস!

Nice question! Now, I have the luxury of not being a Bengali teacher, who has to mark exam papers right or wrong 😀 So, rather than doing that I’ll try to tell you what I observe. As you correctly pointed out it is done by ‘certain’ speakers - usually those with more contact with English. There seems to be a social dimension as well - (aspiring to be) urban upper class, though this is not uncorrelated to the aforementioned contact with English. I personally don’t use it, as I grew up without it and left Bengal before it caught up to me. 😂
