Finally the last of these pesky legal abbreviations. :D

(Why do lawyers call these incredibly long document "briefs"?)

This excerpt quotes the BGH:

"Eine solche Regelung verbietet sich nicht etwa deshalb, weil nach den Feststellungen des BerG in "Ausnahmefällen" auch die auf Musikaufnahmen zugeschnittenen Geräte der Bekl. ausschließlich zu Zwecken verwendet werden, durch die nicht in die von der Kl. verwalteten Rechte eingegriffen wird."

What is BerG, please? Berlin Court? Thank you.

    Thank you very much for the links, Frank. :) They are much appreciated and I will store them away for the future.

    No, there is no letter missing. It is a direct cut-and-paste (although I have caught the rare typo in this document) from a large law firm in Munich.

    Unfortunately an abbreviation like "BerG" is impossible to Google; you get a billion useless hits.

    I do have the BGH reference for the quotation, though: BGH, GRUR 1965, 104, 108 - Personalausweis
