Hi,

1- Now, I feel better than I felt yesterday.
2- Now, I feel better than yesterday.

3- This year, there are more leaves in the tree than there were last year.
4- This year, there are more leaves in the tree than last year.

Do sentences 2 and 4 sound bad to you? I would just like to know if they are OK or not. In my opinion they could be understable easily but I am not that sure.

Thanks.
